network security management and security incidence response.
Although the Argus Project is focused on network audit
Argus enables the establishment of a comprehensive audit trail of
all network activity, either for a single network element or for
an entire network segment. An Argus generated audit is a semantically
rich dataset that can be used as a basis for a number of network
security management tasks.
